our strawberries are still growing, I picked these just this morning.

This was after church; 

Joey was really hoping Dave would conduct church with his patch on.

August 24th

We went to the Provo temple today with Gene,  Holly and Jessica;

it was wonderful even though we had to wait over an hour.

 

Aug 23rd

Rick sent this picture of his dog Mateo 

who is showing sympathy and solidarity with Dave and his plight.

August 21st

we attended a town hall meeting with Senator Mike Lee tonight.

We are so proud to have him as our senator!

 

 August 20th

this cute nephew of ours returned today from Puerto Rico. He now joins the ranks of 

the returned missionaries of the world, well done Elder Duclos, it's great to have you back home.

August 19th

Dave saw the eye specialist today; nothing was resolved, although we found out that there is bleeding in his left eye, making it very difficult if not impossible to see or to check for damage on his retina.

He has another appointment on Wednesday.

Dave's eye started bothering him yesterday, so he slipped this in the grocery cart at the store today.

Our kids have had lots of fun with this picture,  comments like 'AARRRR',  'yar matey', and 'when is he getting a parrot?'
